Rugby 20 is the first rugby video game since 2018 and only the eighth of the decade. The quality of the graphics has improved a lot and Rugby 20 offers realistic and artistic depictions of licensed players which rivals that of FIFA series of games. The gameplay is intuitive and easy to learn, even if the number of controls can be a bit overwhelming at first sight. You can customize defensive and attacking strategies in complicated ways to add a level of realism that is missing from previous games. The game offers a Solo "my player" type career mode. The "my Squad" is similar to the previous Rugby 18 version and Challenges that are based on real-life games.

The game has five licensed nations and four licensed domestic leagues.
