The 2D action shooter Black Future ‘88 is coming in 2019. It is a synth-punk roguelike title where players climb a tower that's always evolving fighting through procedurally generated levels. Your goal is to reach the top and kill the crazy master of the place before your own heart kills you.

Game Story

In the Summer of 1988, Duncan, the architect of the tower launched an attack with nuclear bombs that ended blacking-out the sun. The subsequent rains and floods managed to kill most of the people.

As one of the remaining survivors, you must fight to the end to avenge those who have fallen and to stop the nuclear rain. Killing Duncan is the only way to achieve both things.

Features

Synth-punk world: Take on this retro cyberpunk dystopia and choose one of five playable characters. Each zone has unique challenges that will push your skills to the limit.

Kill the wardens: Protect yourself from your enemies and kill them. Fight the bosses guarding each of the zones.

Dailies: There are new challenges every day. These challenges will measure your abilities, allowing you to compete against other players and climb a global Leader board. This isn’t only survival; this is also supremacy.
