Tower 57 is an indie video game developed by Pixwerk and published by 11 bit studios. It is a top-down twin-stick shooter set in a post-apocalyptic future, where humans have lost the power of speech. Players take on the role of “Ascenders” and must explore the remnants of civilization to obtain special abilities from forgotten technology, unlock secrets, eliminate enemies, and ultimately try to restore humanity’s voice.

Upgradable weapons such as shotguns, rocket launchers, energy guns and more can be collected along with unique character classes like assassins or monks who offer unique skills & upgrades within each mission level. In addition to battling enemies while navigating through various locations of this dystopian world - which include mines left over from pre-fall times - great care was taken when creating Tower 57’s detailed 16-bit graphics-inspired visuals along with its intense soundtrack composed by Michael Chait. With its unique atmosphere and engaging mechanics, it is sure to provide an enjoyable experience that players will want to come back to again and again.
