The story takes place in the not-so-distant future of the twenty-second century. The Earth has been ravaged by gamma rays, and no life form has survived. Humanity, to survive this catastrophe, built sophisticated robots, called Archives of Consciousness, in order to transfer its soul and escape extinction. Unfortunately, the robots were corrupted and a shower of lead hit the Earth. Hex, Vanguard and Catalyst, three Archives of Consciousness, were immersed in artificial sleep to find the last bastion of humanity, a lost city named Eden. But the planet is now at the mercy of machine factions, struggling for the possession of the latest available resources. Livelock is a shooter in top view and can be played cooperatively by up to three players. Several fighting styles are available to you, whether you play alone or in coop, Hex being a fighter, Vanguard a tank and Catalyst a support. You will have the opportunity to enhance and personalize your archive by gaining experience or picking up objects during the levels. Alone or two or three, prepare yourself to live epic battles at a breakneck pace!
