ReCore is a third-person action-adventure shooter featuring the story of Joule Adams and his “corebot companion” Mack. After a long journey from Earth to the world of Far Eden, Jules wakes up from cryo-sleep to discover that nothing has gone according to plan. Earth population has been decimated by a plague called Dust Devil. Far Eden was meant to be a colony where humans would start a new future with the aid of their corebots, but the planet turns out to be a hostile desert wasteland constantly assaulted by sandstorms. To make things worse, most corebots sent to terraform the planet and get it ready for the colonists have gone rogue and violent, and the other humans traveling with him are nowhere to be found. Joule will have to take the responsibility of finding out what has happened and try to get things fixed, so Far Eden can be again the last hope for humanity.
