X-Com: Terror from the Deep follows up on the classic strategy game X-Com: UFO Defense. X-Com organization has managed to defeat the aliens in their homeworld of Cydonia, but the aliens are not finished. They have sent a signal to a colony of aliens that have been sleeping for millions of years on the Earth’s seabed. Now they are awake and terrorizing everyone. No ship or coastal city is safe. A decommissioned X-Com must head back into the fight to drive the aliens from our world, once and for all. 

X-Com: Terror from the Deep retains the mechanics that have made the previous game so popular. You must build up a naval base underwater and stock it with personnel, weapons, and vehicles. The technology that you acquired from the aliens no longer works underwater, so now you must research new technology that can work in the ocean. Expect flying subs, a new generation of unmanned drones, and combat above and below the sea as you attempt to shoot down as many UFOs as you can.
