A (free) Ubisoft account and the Ubisoft Connect application installation are mandatory to activate and play your game.

How to activate a CD key on Ubisoft Connect (Uplay)?

1. Open Ubisoft Connect: Launch the application on your computer. If you do not have an account yet, you can create one for free on the official Ubisoft website, then download and install the software, and finally log in.

2. Access the activation menu: Click on the key icon (or the small box with a plus sign) located in the upper left corner of the window, right next to your search bar, or go to the "Library" tab and click "Activate a key".

3. Enter your CD key: Copy and paste your unique code into the "Activation Key" field, then click "Activate" to validate your product.

4. Download your game: Once the code is verified, the game is permanently linked to your account. You will find it immediately in your "Games" or "Library" tab, where you can start downloading and installing it.

How to activate your key on Ubisoft Connect

Key Type Verification:

• Region-Locked keys (Europe, US, etc.): Your Microsoft account must be set to the exact same geographical area as the key to allow activation.

How to activate a CD key or code on Xbox Series X | S?

  1. Turn on your console, log into your profile, and open the Microsoft Store application from the Home dashboard or the Guide.

  2. Open the left sidebar menu (or press the "View" button on your controller) and select the "Redeem" option.

  3. Enter your 25-character CD key (hyphens will be formatted automatically), then select "Next".

  4. Confirm the activation. The title will immediately appear in your library, ready to download under "My games & apps" > "Full library" > "Owned games".

• Option B: Via a web browser (Alternative method)

  1. Go to the official Microsoft redemption website (redeem.microsoft.com) using your computer or smartphone.

  2. Sign in with the Microsoft account you use on your console. 

  3. Enter or paste your unique 25-character code and confirm. The game is instantly added to your account, and background download will automatically trigger on your Xbox Series X | S if "Sleep" power mode is enabled.
