NVIDIA is giving away a custom Gears of War: E-Day GeForce RTX 5080

NVIDIA is giving fans the chance to win a one-of-a-kind GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition graphics card wrapped in Gears of War: E-Day artwork as part of its GeForce Summer Nights promotion. Only one custom GPU is up for grabs, making it a particularly rare prize for GeForce collectors.

Entering is straightforward. Fans simply need to comment #RTXPowersPlay on NVIDIA's promotional posts and tune in to @GeForce_JacobF during the company's Gears of War: E-Day livestream. Full eligibility requirements and terms can be found on NVIDIA's GeForce website.

The giveaway also celebrates NVIDIA's partnership with The Coalition, with Gears of War: E-Day set to launch with an extensive suite of RTX technologies on PC.

Regarding the game, Gears of War: E-Day will support DLSS Super Resolution, Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation as part of DLSS 4.5, and NVIDIA Reflex to reduce input latency. On the rendering side, Unreal Engine 5.8 powers advanced graphics features including Lumen global illumination, hardware-accelerated ray-traced shadows, and MegaLights, NVIDIA's technology that enables realistic ray-traced lighting from up to 100 dynamic light sources simultaneously.

Players using other graphics cards won't be left behind, either. The Coalition has also confirmed support for AMD FSR, Intel XeSS, and Unreal Engine's built-in Temporal Super Resolution (TSR), ensuring modern upscaling options are available across a wide range of hardware.

The return of the franchise's signature competitive multiplayer and Horde co-op modes should make NVIDIA Reflex especially valuable, helping reduce PC latency for a more responsive experience during online matches. NVIDIA has also confirmed that the upcoming Open Beta, beginning August 6, will support both DLSS Super Resolution and NVIDIA Reflex from day one. Players who pre-order the game or subscribe to PC Game Pass will receive early access to the beta.

Beyond performance enhancements, Gears of War: E-Day also promises a significant visual leap over previous entries. Thanks to Nanite, environmental detail has reportedly increased by up to 100 times compared to Gears 5, while enhanced real-time destruction allows firefights to leave a much greater impact on the battlefield.
