The Sims 4: Three new packs announced for 2020

Although we had a lot of content in 2019, with no less than five new packs including Island Living and Discover University, the beginning of 2020 has been rather calm for The Sims 4. We had fun with the Tiny Living Stuff Pack which, in addition to bringing new objects to create a sim and a purchase mode, offers a new type of terrain, also granting bonuses related to the size of our house.

Since then, The Sims have celebrated their 20th anniversary and a free update has made a jacuzzi available to everyone, a gift that has been moderately appreciated by the community elsewhere. On the other hand, the votes for the next Community Voted Stuff Pack have almost finished, and the last one, which will choose the name and the icon, should take place this month.

Aside from that, the Sims 4 team has not been very talkative lately and there is not as much information available as usual. It must be said that the current situation tends to slow things down, but we finally have news since the roadmap for the next six months has just been published.

Very little details have been revealed so far. We know that by this fall, three new packs for The Sims 4 will be released: an Expansion Pack, a Stuff Pack, and a Game Pack. According to the article on The Sims 4 blog, these will follow a chronological order and the Expansion Pack would be released first. Knowing that the Stuff Pack is certainly the community kit and that we expect to see it released this summer, it is possible that this Expansion Pack will be released very soon. Regarding the content of the packs, we only know that the expansion "is going to be a surprise for many of you", and that the developers are eager to show what's included in the new Game Pack, which sould be released later this year.
Finally, we have been promised some non-major, but very fun additions for this summer, which should arrive in the form of a free update. In any case, we really want to know more. In the meantime, you can still find The Sims 4, and all the packs at the best price on our comparator.
