A new kit is coming soon for The Sims 4

The Sims 4 continues to evolve more than six years after it was released. Despite its growing age and some rumors about its successor, it doesn't seem that The Sims 4 is at the end of its life and the developers continue to add content regularly via various kinds of packs, but also free updates. The next one to come, and whose release date is still unknown, should bring improvements to two afro haircuts, and add several hair colors. In the meantime, we do have some information about upcoming content in The Sims 4, thanks to the Microsoft Store.

The Sims players were recently introduced to a new type of DLC, the Kits. They are to be differentiated from Stuff Packs, as Kits are smaller packs based on a very specific theme and also cost less. The first three packs in this new format are Throwback Fit, Bust the Dust, and Country Kitchen. It was announced that more kits were to come, but the theme of the next one is known due to a leak. Many players noticed late last week that a new kit called the Courtyard Oasis Kit had appeared on the Microsoft Store.

That was the description on the website before it was removed along with a release date of May 18. If you have any doubts about the authenticity of this leak, the official Sims Twitter account has posted a tweet confirming, not without a touch of humor, that The Sims 4 Courtyard Oasis Kit is real, and that we should know more on May 17th about additional content coming to the game. It's likely that they will reveal the following expansion after The Sims 4 Snowy Escape.
