Tempest Unleashed is the pre-launch event for Dragonflight
Everything is ready for the upcoming release of the new World of Warcraft expansion. Blizzard deployed Phase 1 of the pre-launch update a while ago, and Phase 2 is available worldwide today. All those players that have pre-ordered World of Warcraft: Dragonflight can now create a Dracthyr Evoker and explore their starting area, the Forbidden Reach, to discover the origin of the new race. Dracthyr Evokers will follow a series of quests and learn about their history until they choose if they want to become members of the Alliance or the Horde, pretty much as the Pandaren did in Mists of Pandaria.
The Dragon Isles won't be open for exploration until the release of the expansion, but you can visit previous zones to level up and do quests with your Evoker as you please. The new talent system and the new version of Uldaman are already in place too. You can also experiment with the new UI system and customize your setup however you like, which is something that has been requested for a long while by players who don't like to use mods.
The Tempest Unleashed event
If you are in process of leveling up a Dracthyr Evoker or you are getting a new character ready for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, one of your best options to gear up for the expansions is taking part in the Tempest Unleashed event. You can get Item Level 252 gear, a new toy, and an heirloom trinket by helping your faction to fend off elemental invasions from the Primalists all over Azeroth.
During the invasions, swarms of invaders will spawn in certain areas and you have to fight them back. Every thirty minutes a Primal Storm will trigger and an Elemental Lord will appear. He will empower the mobs in the area, who will then drop Primeval Essence. A hundred of them need to be killed before the Elemental Lord can be attacked. All the mobs in the event have a chance of dropping Item Level 252 gear and you can also buy it from special vendors that you can find with your hard-earned Primeval Essence at Stormwind and Durotar depending on your faction. By obtaining a rare special item from each of the four Lords and combining them, you can create a powerful heirloom trinket that can be used by all of your characters.
The release of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is scheduled for November 28 but you can use our comparator to get your Dragonflight PC key cheap now if you want to play as a Dracthyr Evoker in the game already.
