Tales of Arise demo lands on consoles next week

There is nothing like getting games for free, but to try them for free ranks second in the list, especially if it's ahead of the launch of the game because it allows you to form an opinion and can provide the final push that makes you buy it. That's why many developers decide to launch a free demo before the full version of the game is released. In this case, it's Bandai Namco who is allowing you to try the upcoming installment in the popular Tales RPG series for free. Tales of Arise will launch on September 10, but ahead of that, everyone can check by themselves what the game will offer by playing a free demo that will be available on August 18 on Xbox and Play Station consoles.

Tales of Arise is a role-playing action game that follows the pattern of previous installments in the series. It follows the story of Shionne, a girl afflicted by a curse that causes pain to whoever touches her. She will embark on an epic adventure to fight against her people with the aid of Alphen, a slave from a planet that Shionne's people invaded 300 years ago. In terms of gameplay, Tales of Arise features beautiful scenarios in 3D and retains the Linear Motion Based System, which combines directional input and action buttons to make characters use different attacks and abilities in combat. Every game in the series has added new mechanics to the combat system, enhancing its dynamism and increasing its possibilities, and it's one of the keys to the series' success.
