Tales of Arise breaks record sales at launch

Tales of Arise has received a very warm welcome from the fans. The Tales series have been around for quite a while, and the games in it have secured a rather large fan base that supports every new release. It's worth of notice that each Tales game features different protagonists and stories. Therefore, the only things that titles like Tales of Zestiria, Tales of Berseria, and Tales of Symphonia have in common are their graphics style and the Linear Motion Battle System, which has very few variations across all the games in the series. Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed via Twitter that Tales of Arise has sold one million copies in less than a week after the game's release. It has become the fastest-selling Tales game ever, surpassing its predecessors by a wide margin and making the Tales franchise reach 25 million units sold worldwide. Having to wait five years for a new installment has made the fans eager to play Tales of Arise, and they have rushed to play the game as soon as it has become available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

The story in Tales of Arise is a bit more mature than the one present in other games in the series and allows us to accompany an amnesic Dahnan slave called Alphen, and Shionne, a Denan rebel suffering from a terrible curse. Together they will fight against Shione's people and immerse themselves in an epic adventure where they will meet a colorful cast of characters.
