Steam's Creature Collector Fest is now live—time to catch some great deals!
Valve has kicked off its latest mini festival, the Creature Collector Fest, showcasing a wide array of games where you can collect various creatures. This event highlights the rich diversity that has emerged in this genre, proving there's much more to explore beyond games that resemble Pokémon.
Throughout the festival, players can enjoy discounts on hundreds of Pokémon-like games, experiment with demos, and get a glimpse of future releases in this exciting genre.
And running alongside it, there are also a few themed free Steam Points Shop items to collect—including an animated avatar, profile frame, and animated sticker to use in chat.
First on the list is one of last year's standout titles, Palworld, which is now available at a 25% discount, lowering the price to $22.49 / 21,74€ / £18.74. Often regarded as the most well-known alternative to Pokémon on Steam, it combines traditional creature-collecting with survival elements, allowing you to employ your Pals in factories. While it remains in early access and is still evolving, it already offers a wealth of content.
If you’re looking for something more relaxing and less intense, you might enjoy Spirit City: Lofi Sessions. It's currently 30% off at $8.39 / 8,25€ / £6.99 and boasts overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam. The game functions as a cozy productivity tool featuring cute spirit companions and a soothing lo-fi soundtrack designed to enhance your focus.
Another intriguing offer from Steam's Creature Collector Fest is Digimon World: Next Order, now available for just $9.59 / 7,99€ / £6.39, reflecting an impressive 84% discount. With over 200 companions to recruit, nurture, and battle with, it provides numerous hours of monster-raising enjoyment, though it can be somewhat grindy.
The Creature Collector Fest will continue until May 19. This event marks the 12th sale in the series of Steam sale dates to anticipate. Coming up next is the Zombies vs. Vampires Fest, which may seem a bit premature for May, but for some, it's always spooky season.
