SIFU is getting lots of additional content this year
Until SIFU arrived, all beat 'em up games had taken a similar approach to martial arts. One way or another, it was all just flashy movements and complicated combos, but developer SoClap changed everything with its latest game. SIFU takes a different approach to the genre by allowing you to perform an incredible variety of attacks. The combat system in the game is very detailed, and you can overwhelm your opponents with many combinations that lead to big finishers, but the controls are quite intuitive, making the game easy to grasp but hard to master.
New content
Since its launch last year, SIFU has become a reference in the genre, and now SoClap is looking to expand the game with additional content that includes new gameplay modes, more customization options, and other functions. The studio has revealed the roadmap for 2022.
First of all, SIFU is getting three difficulty modes, so you can adjust the game depending on your proficiency level. This addition will be accompanied by an Advanced Training option and an outfit selector to customize your character. Those novelties will be followed by new options to add modifiers to your games, advanced scoring, and a new batch of outfits that will arrive during the summer. The fall will bring more outfits and a Replay Editor so you can watch your best moments in combat with all detail. Finally, a new game mode called Arenas will arrive by the end of the year, accompanied by new modifiers and outfits to spice up the game.
Overall, SIFU will be getting plenty of additional content throughout 2022 that will maintain the game fresh, and all of it will come in the form of free updates. If you are yet to discover this action game set in modern-day China, you can buy SIFU cheap via our comparator anytime.
