Activating a Rockstar CD key : The first thing you will need is a CD key for a Rockstar game. Then you need to go to Rockstar Social Club website to create an account if you do not have one already. Once you have logged in to your account, you will be able to navigate through their site to activate, download and install your games, like GTA V for example.

1. Click on the Rockstar icon on the right-upper corner and select "Game Downloads" from the menu.
2. Select the game you want to install from the list and click on "Use Rockstar Code".
3. Imput your Rockstar CD key to activate your game and follow the instructions to install it and play.

Rockstar doesn't force you to use a client to install and manage your games as Steam or Uplay do, saving you from having to run a program on your background to play their games. You just download the installer, install the game and then play it. If you want to uninstall it you can do it like if you were uninstalling any other Windows program, and of course, if you want to install it again you just need to run the installer again. On the other side, you can use Rockstar Social Club website to chat with friends, read about the latest news and events, share and download in-game photos and videos, and even purchase merchandising from their shop. Pretty much, all of the standards you would find on any digital distribution platform.
