Resident Evil 3 Remake is a reality
CAPCOM has found a gold mine bringing back to life the old titles in the Resident Evil series. For those that have been following us, it is not a surprise that the Japanese company is putting a lot of work on the remakes of some of the most important titles in the survival horror franchise. Resident Evil 2 Remake was a hit among the fans of the series and the Resident Evil HD Remaster was also very well received. It is no surprise that the release of Resident Evil 3 remake was one of the most important announcements that we could see during the latest State of Play, which we could watch yesterday.
The new Resident Evil 3 adapts to modern hardware the old game. You can see the amazing graphics in the video and if you are one of the fans of the series you have probably played the game already, but experiencing again the thrill of trying to escape the zombie-infested Raccoon City playing as former Special Tactics And Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) member Jill Valentine will be even better than before with the enhanced graphics.
As it happened with Resident Evil 2 Remake, the new game may include new modes and some surprises but nothing has been confirmed about those so far. What has been confirmed is that Resident Evil 3 remake will include the multiplayer game Project Resistance, which players could play at the Tokyo Game Show 2019. Project Resistance is a four-versus-one asymmetrical multiplayer game where four survivors try to escape from a facility controlled by an evil Mastermind.
The combination of those two completely different gameplay styles will make Resident Evil 3 a very good option for people who have played the old Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and newcomers to the series, allowing you to jump between a thrilling survival horror adventure and a surprising multiplayer game. Resident Evil 3 will be out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3rd, 2020.
