Resident Evil 2 is leaked before release date

In previous posts, I have already explained why you should be excited about the new Resident Evil 2. It's not that I am a big fan of the series, but I played the original Resident Evil 2 and just after playing through the one-shot 30-minutes demo during the weekend I have to acknowledge that they have done an impressive job with the remake. Maybe that's the reason why I am not so surprised after knowing that the game has been leaked a few days ahead before its official release date. Resident Evil 2 was supposed to release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on January 25, but according to some reports and posts on the series' subreddit, stores in the Us have sold copies of the game already. They seem to be a number of copies of the game for PlayStation 4 specifically. You can even find gameplay videos featuring Claire Redfield during the game opening. I refuse to spoil the game for anyone and therefore you won't see the videos here.

The point of all this is that people are so hyped about the launch of Resident Evil 2 that things like this are bound to happen. Nothing has been announced yet but if the reception of the game turns out to be as good as expected we may see more content. It seems that Kazunori Kadoi, director of the game, and its producer, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi are in conversations with Capcom about the viability of launching future DLCs that would add more content to the game! The only thing clear at the moment is that after winning the Best of Show Award during E3 2018, the popularity of Resident Evil 2 skyrocketed, generating more expectation among the public. If you have played the demo, you know already that you have enough reasons to be excited about the launch. Whether you played the original title or not, it definitely is a game worth playing, and you already know that you can find the best price on our comparator.
