Pathologic 3 's prologue prepares you for its launch

The Pathologic series lets you delve into the darker side of the human mind with its unique approach to the theme of human mortality. Now, a third instalment of the series is in the making and will soon be released. Pathologic 3 puts you in the shoes of Daniil Dankovsky, a young doctor seeking the secret of immortality. To accomplish his goal, he travels to a distant town following the rumours of someone who can help with his investigation, but this causes his superiors to get angry and they send people to chase him.

Pathologic 3: Quarantine features a unique story-driven experience that is narrated from different points of view, offering distinct perspectives of the events. A terrible plague, an unfortunate series of events, and non-chronologic storytelling are at the core of a video game that has its predecessors as the foundation to deliver a unique experience.

Prologue

Developer Ice-Pick Lodge is giving the fans of the series the opportunity to take a first look at Pathologic 3 ahead of the game's release. A standalone trial with the name of Pathologic 3: Quarantine will arrive next month and it will be available for free on Steam. It will give players access to a chapter of the game that serves as a prologue and it focuses on the events previous to the story in Pathologic 3, revealing what moved Daniil Dankovsky to abandon his lab to travel to a faraway town afflicted with a terrible plague.
