Malkavian is the last clan that will appear in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

We have a new trailer to present us the last of the full-blood clans that will be present at the start of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. The Malkavian also known as the Clan of the Moon; they are the telepaths, those that see and hear everything "the world wants to hide". Of course, this comes at a cost, and all of the Malkavian suffer from mental illnesses like psychosis, compulsive disorders, etc... This has made them the outcast from the Seattle Kindred. They have few territories to call their own but they tend to be located in the less attractive districts of the city. But some consider this a clan of oracles and "skilled advisers."

As for their powers, the clan Malkavian offers two powerful blood disciplines to the kindred that align with them. The first one is Dementation, that allows them to use Haunt to share their own psychosis to their victims and make them flee in panic. Vampires using dementation can also use the skill Berserk to fill their target with an uncontrollable rage, causing them to lash out at anything close by. Even if the effects of those powers can be very flashy and noticeable, the use of Dementation is not considered a Masquerade violation. The second blood discipline of the Malkavian, Auspex, is split also in a couple of skills. Aura Sense, that the vampire can use to spot NPC’s through walls, read crowds at a glance and mark individuals, staying aware of them even over long distances and revealing their weaknesses. Psychic Projection will force the vampire’s mind out of their body, allowing it to explore the area in astral form and use Aura Sight to mark any character they spot. The vampire’s senses have developed to such an extent that they may end up telepathically overwhelming the senses of others for a short while. These abilities are not a violation of the Masquerade.

If you know a bit of the world of Vampire you are probably missing a few clans of the Camarilla in the game. Hopefully, clans like the Nosferatu or the Gangrel will be added at some point in the future, maybe through DLC, to expand a bit more the amazing world of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2.
