LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga gets Mandalorian and Bad Batch DLC

Just in time for Star Wars Day, traditionally celebrated on May 4, Warner Bros. Games has released a new DLC pack for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, this time with content from the second season of The Mandalorian and the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

From The Mandalorian series, the pack includes characters from the second season. In the list are Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Bo Katan, Fennec Shand, and the villain Moff Gideon.

From the Star Wars: The Bad Batch animation, the pack brings Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Echo as playable characters. Check out the trailer below for a preview:

A line-up featuring more than 400 characters

The pack can be purchased separately or as part of the Character Collection Pack, which also includes characters from other works such as Rogue One and Solo: A Star Wars Story, the first season of The Mandalorian, and classic characters from the franchise in 1999 models.

This is a significant addition, considering that the base game already features over 300 unlockable characters from all three cinematic trilogies. In total, you can get over 400 characters in the roster with all the DLCs.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the biggest game of the TT Games studio and also the biggest launch in LEGO game history. It sold 3.2 million units over its first two weeks. The numbers are impressive, but it is not surprising considering the game's style, with its irreverent humor and simple but enjoyable gameplay. However, such success has perhaps come at a high price, as its development has led to an extensive crunch.

The game is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. As usual, you should check our comparator for the best game deals for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagaand grab it anytime.
