Left 4 Dead 2 receives a new free update
It turns out that Left 4 Dead 2 is not so dead as it would seem. Eight years after its latest update, the multiplayer survival horror game released by Valve in 2009 is receiving more content in a new DLC. Cold Stream came out in 2012 and since then Valve has not done much for the game so, why now and how is Left 4 Dead 2 getting more content? Well, the answer is quite simple, the game has such an involved community of players that love it that 30 of them have partnered with developer Valve during the last 11 months to create brand new content for the game.
The Last Stand update brings 20 new survival arenas, a campaign with a story focused on The Lighthouse survival map, four new scavenge arenas, and a bunch of new weapons, achievements, and improvements to the game. If you are a fan of the zombie shooter multiplayer game, you can just update Left 4 Dead 2 and you will receive all that content for free on PC.
It's not like Left 4 Dead 2 is going to become a new game with the update, but if you are wondering how is it possible that a game that was released eleven years ago still averages about 10,000 players a day and drives players to create free content for it, you might want to give it a try and find the answer by yourself. Expect thrilling gameplay becoming a survivor that struggles against hordes of extremely aggressive zombies in a first-person shooter that focuses on cooperative gameplay through several modes and campaigns. You can play Left 4 Dead 2 on Steam for free through the next few days and, of course, find the best price to buy Left 4 Dead 2 by visiting our comparator anytime.
