Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons will launch in early 2022

Guild Wars 2 is an MMORPG that has been around for quite a while and it has expanded its world in several ways over the years. Developer ArenaNet has kept the game in good shape and the community of players happy with frequent updates that have added lots of quests, new storylines, and more, but every once in a while the game also gets a major expansion. End of Dragons will be the third expansion for Guild Wars 2 after Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire. ArenaNet has just announced that, even though it was originally planned for this year, it will finally launch in February 2022. 

Dragons have been an inherent part of Guild Wars 2 lore since the game was released and players have suffered the machinations of these powerful enemies for a while, also getting several opportunities of thwarting their plans and even fighting against them. End of Dragons gets the story closer to its conclusion when it comes to these almost almighty magical beings, and it will include a brand new continent to explore. The land of Cantha has been isolated from other parts of the world for over two centuries and adventures will now have the opportunity of discovering all its secrets.

In terms of gameplay features, End of Dragons will bring new elite specializations for each class that will add plenty of new skills and combat options. The expansion will also include the first mount able to bear two riders, a mighty combat turtle equipped with powerful weapons that you can shoot. Fishing is another novelty in End of Dragons, and along with it, the expansion will allow players to have their own boats. Of course, you can expect to find more legendary weapons, strike missions, and even a new type of guildhall once the expansion is available.

With World of Warcraft currently in turmoil, Guild Wars 2 could be a perfect home for those that are looking for greener pastures somewhere else, and the release of End of Dragons will contribute to make it even a more attractive choice for many players next year.
