Carnival Hunt may look like another entry in the increasingly crowded asymmetrical horror genre, but its wind-up key system gives every match a wonderfully tense identity of its own. This helps Carnival Hunt stand apart from games that borrow heavily from Dead by Daylight without adding much beyond a new monster and a different map. Its first-person viewpoint, creepy puppet art and ability to hide among lifeless Bunny bodies already give it personality, but the winding mechanic is the real star.
