A Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun expansion is on the way

There are plenty of games that offer you a thrilling experience when it comes to warfare during the Dark Millennium. Among those, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun stands out as a unique retro FPS experience that is as brutal and engaging as it gets. The game does not need fancy graphics or complex gameplay mechanics to allow you to embody a mighty Space Marine embarked on a mission to destroy the servants of the Ruinous Powers. The game delivers a solid and entertaining experience and has become a favourite of the Warhammer 40,000 fans since it was released. Now, developer Auroch Digital plans to expand it with additional content, and we couldn't be happier about it.

Yesterday's Skulls 2024 festival was the perfect occasion to announce Forges of Corruption, a new and exciting expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun that will add plenty of new content to the game. In this expansion, players will have to retake a forge complex on Graia from the hands of the Traitor Marines. A whole new location filled to the brim with Chaos Space Marines and demons awaits you in this expansion that will also feature new enemies like the Helbrute. To aid you in this mission, your chapter will provide you with access to two iconic heavy weapons: the Multi-Melta and the Missile Launcher. Wielding those, you will be able to pierce through the thickest armour and blast your enemies as you carve a path of destruction.

The Forges of Corruption DLC will arrive on June 18th for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox alongside a free update that will introduce a brand new horde mode to Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun.
