Bleach is a renowned manga series that has millions of fans all over the world. Therefore, any adaptation inspired by the series is bound to become very popular. Over the years, quite a few video games featuring the iconic characters in the series have been released. Most of them were fighting games, allowing players to recreate the epic fights that happened in the original story. Bleach: Rebirth of Souls offers a new opportunity to follow the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki and explore the world of the Soul Reapers. This fighting game created by Tamsoft Corporation features impressive graphics and follows the events in the original manga series from the Substitute Soul Reaper Arc to the Arrancar Arc, which concludes with an epic fight against Sosuke Aizen.

A new contender

In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls players will face many characters from the manga series and will be able to choose from a large cast of characters featuring iconic fighters. Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has just released a new video showcasing one of these characters. Kaien Shiba is the lieutenant of the 13th Division and a brave warrior who wields a Zanpakutō called Nejibana, which allows him to unleash powerful water-based attacks. The video details all of his combat movements and attacks and confirms that he will be a challenging opponent capable of turning the tide of the battle when he awakens the powers of his weapon.

Kaien Shiba is just one of the fighters that you will embody in Bleach: Rebirth of Souls. The developer studio has revealed quite a few already and there are more to come ahead of the game's release, which will take place on March 20, 2025. Bleach: Rebirth of Souls will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
