Apex Legend launches its first big event

We have grown accustomed to see Limited Time Events in other Battle Royale games like Fortnite and it's about time that Respawn Entertainment launched the first one in Apex Legends. It's true that the game from Titanfall creators had a very strong start and it still doing good, but it seems that Epic Games' title is still holding its seat as the most played Battle Royale. This new Legendary Hunt event could be an attempt to gain relevance but we can guess that Apex Legends' players will be glad of taking part in it no matter what.

Legendary Hunt is a Limited Time Event that will be up until June 18th. It features plenty of exclusive rewards that players can earn just by playing the game and earning Battle Pass levels. You will also get special rewards completing certain challenges. Legendary Tamed Beast Triple Take weapon skin will be yours if you win twice games in any queue, for example. But if you want to push your limits and aim for the best you will also be rewarded during the Legendary Hunt event. If you finish in the Top 5 in any match you will get the Legendary Hunt Badge; do it five times and you will be getting Rare Wolfpack G7 Scout weapon skin. Finishing any game in the Top 5 will also allow you to join a new "Apex Elite" queue until July 2, where you will fight against the best of the best for extra rewards. If you finish in the Top 5 in an Elite match you will get the Epic Master of the Hunt Bloodhound Legend skin. Five seems to be the lucky number during the event, because every day of the event, the first time you manage to be in the Top 5 in any match you will earn a Battle Pass full level as a reward. Those are a lot of rewards to earn but there are even more coming for those that own Apex Legends' Season 1 Battle Pass. If you are a pass holder you are getting Legendary Honored Prey R-301 weapon skin, and if you level up the pass up to 15 you will earn a Legendary Night Terror Wraith skin.

Also, if you have never played Apex Legends this could be the best moment to give it a try and catch up on levels because this weekend starts the first ever Apex Legends Double XP Weekend: It will run from June 7 to June 10, and during that period all standard and Battle Pass XP rewards will be doubled.
