Ghost Recon Breakpoint is finally getting AI-controlled teammates

Although this is a feature that should have been included at launch it has taken Ubisoft quite a while to implement it. Right now, Ghost Recon Breakpoint only allows players to act as part of a team if the rest of the members in their squad are controlled by other players. It's quite certain that an AI-controlled teammate won't perform as well as an experienced player, but the addition of that option will still open a new world of possibilities regarding gameplay in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. It also removes the need for grouping with other players unless you want to. This feature was also included in Ghost Recon Wildlands, so it doesn't really make any sense that it's missing in its successor.

We will have to wait for a few weeks until we can make use of the new functionality since it will be included in the next update for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Said update was supposed to be released this month, but Ubisoft has decided to delay it until July. The upcoming patch will also include a series of bug fixes and updates for PvP and Gunsmith. It should also fix the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) exploit, which is having a significant impact on the players' experience in PvP and PvE.

Even though Ghost Recon Breakpoint has not been exactly a success with the players, Ubisoft seems to be committed to make it good enough. They have been focused on releasing updates with fixes and modifications and the upcoming one seems to be a step in the right direction to make the game a serious candidate to compete with other top games in the genre. You can form an opinion about Ghost Recon Breakpoint by yourself because there is a free trial available that allows you to experience six hours of solo gameplay. We recommend you to wait until the upcoming 2.1.0. update is released next month.
