Desperados III finally has a release date

It's been a while since Desperados III was announced but Mimimi Games has put a lot of effort into making the new game in the Desperados series worthy of praise. The creators of Shadow Tactics already had experience with the genre, but maintaining the level of difficulty, the number of tactical options, and the flavor of previous Desperados games while trying to infuse new life into the series has undoubtedly become a challenging task for them. Since the Commandos series was released all the games of the same type have struggled to be at the same level as the masterpiece from Pyro Studios, but Desperados III has all the elements to appeal to the fans of the real-time tactics games. We finally know when we will be able to check if it's good enough because THQ Nordic has just announced that Desperados III will launch on June 16, 2020, on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Desperados III is a prequel to Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive that follows the story of John Cooper. Leading a group of unlikely heroes, they will have to survive through a series of missions in the ruthless scenario of the Wild West.  Desperados III is a tactical stealth game in which you will have to make use of the abilities of each of the components of the group under your control to successfully achieve different objectives on every mission as the story progresses. 

Each of the characters in your group specializes in a different area of expertise and only by combining them and following a well-laid plan you will be able to get them to progress in their adventure. Stealth, lethal and non-lethal moves can be used to distract or eliminate your enemies or devise different strategies to defeat them, and you have to remember that there are multiple ways to overcome every obstacle in the game. It is up to you to choose how you will do it, but remember that using the force is not always the best way.
