    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I permanently lose a unicorn by failing to complete a specific quest or by making poor choices during a story event?
No, the game does not feature permanent unicorn loss. However, neglecting a unicorn's needs or making choices that contradict their personality will negatively impact your relationship and the rewards you receive from them.
How does the 'Harmony Meter' impact gameplay, and what specific actions raise or lower it?
The Harmony Meter reflects the balance between unicorn needs and your actions. Actions like completing unicorn-specific quests, using preferred grooming items, and making choices that align with their personality increase the meter. Neglecting needs or making choices they dislike will decrease it. The meter affects resource generation, quest availability, and access to unique abilities.
Does the type of enchanted flora used to feed a unicorn affect its magical abilities or the spells it can cast?
Yes, different types of enchanted flora provide unique magical bonuses and affect the types of spells a unicorn can cast. Experimenting with different feeding combinations is key to unlocking advanced abilities and customizing your unicorn's magical skillset.
If a unicorn's 'Bond' level is low, are there gameplay consequences, and how can the bond be improved?
Yes, a low bond level reduces a unicorn's effectiveness in quests and limits access to certain abilities and story events. Bond can be improved by fulfilling their needs, giving gifts they like, participating in activities they enjoy, and making choices in story events that align with their personality.
Are there any 'cross-unicorn' interactions, such as breeding or competitions, and how do these affect the gameplay?
While there is no breeding, you can participate in competitions where unicorns of various types showcase their magical talents. Your unicorn's performance in these events can earn valuable rewards, including unique customization items and resources.
How does the 'Dream Weaving' mechanic work, and what advantages does it offer?
Dream Weaving involves entering a unicorn's dream to influence their thoughts and emotions through interactive puzzles and storytelling. Successfully navigating a dream will boost their bond, reveal hidden story details, and sometimes unlock new abilities or quests.
Can I change a unicorn's name or appearance after I have selected them?
Yes, you can rename your unicorns at any time. Cosmetic customization options for appearance are earned through gameplay and the completion of specific quests. However, initial breed selection is permanent.
How are the unicorn's special abilities activated during quests or challenges, and how does this affect the gameplay strategy?
Unicorn abilities are activated through a combination of resource management and strategic timing. Utilizing their abilities at the right moment is essential to overcoming challenges and earning rewards. Different unicorns excel in different quest types, requiring strategic selection.
Are there any consequences for ignoring a unicorn's needs for an extended period, beyond a decrease in bond?
Yes, ignoring a unicorn's needs can lead to temporary debuffs, such as reduced magical power or increased vulnerability in quests. Persistent neglect may also trigger a 'crisis' event, which requires immediate attention to resolve.
How does the game handle the collection and management of the various resources needed to care for a unicorn and enhance its abilities?
Resources are obtained through a combination of quest completion, exploration, and crafting. A dedicated interface allows you to monitor and manage these resources. Effective resource management is key to unlocking new abilities, creating items, and keeping your unicorns happy.
