Greak: Memories of Azur sets you on a mystical journey to flee from a plague-ridden fantasy land. In this lovingly-crafted Metroidvania, you play as three siblings: Greak, Adara, and Raydel, who are on the run from an invading army of Urlags. You must use their unique abilities to navigate the dangerous road ahead.

Step into the shoes of the protagonist Greak, a member of the Courine race. With his people being decimated by the Urlags, he must regroup with his sister Adara and brother Raydel, then work with them to build an Airship they can use to escape. The trio must explore the magical land of Azur, solve intricate puzzles, and collect pieces of the ship. Aside from building the Airship, the trio needs to rescue as many Courines as they can to complete their exodus.

The Urlags won’t make it easy for them, so you need to use the siblings’ skills creatively. The nimble Greak uses a bow, can crawl through small spaces, and roll to dodge enemy attacks. Adara can use magic, levitate, and swim like a fish. The eldest brother Raydel uses a longsword and shield to fight toe-to-toe and can swing through the air with a grappling hook.

With its beautifully crafted, hand-drawn art reminiscent of Shovel Knight and enchanting orchestral score, Greak: Memories of Azur brings a fantasy land to life. The memories of this wonderful adventure will last long after the game is done.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I control both Greak and Adore simultaneously during combat and puzzles, or is it always a switch between them?
You can control both characters at the same time, allowing for coordinated actions and puzzle-solving. The game doesn't force a strict single-character control at any point.
If one sibling dies in a solo-player experience, does that mean immediate game over, or are there checkpoints/respawns?
If one sibling falls, the other can continue. You'll respawn at the last checkpoint with both siblings available.
How does the 'sibling link' mechanic function in regards to puzzle solving? Does it have any limitations?
The sibling link allows for actions like grappling across gaps and pulling objects. The main limitation is the distance between siblings; the link has a set length.
Is the world exploration mainly linear, or does the game encourage backtracking and revisiting areas with new abilities acquired by the siblings?
The game strongly encourages backtracking, as new abilities gained by the siblings will often unlock previously inaccessible areas, and hidden secrets.
Are there any resources that are permanently missable if you don't collect them at the right time in a playthrough?
No, all key resources are designed to be available until collected, allowing players to not miss important upgrades or story elements.
How do combat abilities change when you are controlling both siblings versus controlling them separately?
When controlling both siblings simultaneously, their individual abilities can be combined for more complex attacks. Separately, their abilities are more focused.
Do the siblings share a health bar, or do they each have their own?
Each sibling has their own individual health bar that needs to be managed separately during combat or exploration.
Can the siblings equip different items, and if so, how does that impact gameplay and puzzle-solving?
Yes, each sibling can equip different items. This allows for diverse combat strategies and opens up new puzzle-solving solutions depending on the equipped items.
How does the game handle the death of one sibling during a boss battle? Does it require a complete restart or is there a way to revive the fallen sibling?
If one sibling dies during a boss battle, the remaining sibling can continue, but the battle becomes significantly more challenging. There is no way to revive the fallen sibling instantly, requiring strategic play.
Does the game offer any form of fast travel, or is all navigation done on foot?
The game does offer a form of fast travel through specific locations, allowing for quick movement across the world.
