    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the same banner in multiple decks during a single campaign playthrough?
No. Each banner is unique and can only be assigned to a single deck. You'll need to strategically choose which banners best complement your chosen heroes and their starting decks.
If a banner's ability triggers 'at the end of your turn', does it happen before or after the enemy's turn?
The banner ability triggers immediately after your turn ends and before the enemy phase begins, allowing you to react to your actions before the enemy does.
Are banners permanently lost if the hero they're assigned to is defeated?
No, if a hero is defeated, the banner returns to your available pool for use with another hero in subsequent battles, provided it's not a campaign-specific restriction.
Do banner abilities stack if I have multiple banners with similar effects in the same deck?
No, only one instance of a banner's effect applies per trigger, even if multiple banners share a similar ability, unless the banner text specifically mentions stacking.
How do I acquire new banners throughout a campaign?
Banners are primarily earned by completing specific objectives, defeating powerful enemies, or making strategic choices during campaign events. The exact acquisition methods vary from campaign to campaign.
Can banners be upgraded or modified in any way?
Some campaigns or game modes allow for limited banner modification, such as adding minor buffs or changing the conditions of their activation, but this is not a universal feature.
Does the order in which banners are placed in my deck affect their activation order?
No, the placement order of banners in your deck does not affect the sequence in which their abilities trigger; they activate based on the game's trigger conditions.
Are there any banners that directly interact with enemy units, not just my own?
Yes, while most banners focus on enhancing your own forces, some banners feature abilities that directly affect the enemy, such as debuffing their stats or disrupting their actions.
How do I know which banners are best suited for a particular hero or playstyle?
Each banner's description provides detailed information about its effects, and understanding your hero's strengths and the encounter's challenges will help you decide which banner best complements your strategy. Experimentation is key.
If a banner's effect requires a dice roll, how is the outcome determined?
Dice rolls for banners use the game's standard dice system. The specifics of the die (e.g., number of sides) are detailed within the banner's text. You'll roll this die, and the outcome determines the banner's effect.
