Explore an intricately crafted world in Stela, a 2D side-scrolling adventure that takes place on an alien planet about to meet its end. Much like games like Gris, Limbo, and Inside, Stela lets you play as an unnamed protagonist with an unclear goal. All you know is that you’ve woken up and must journey across a desperate land filled with untold dangers. There is no narration or dialogue; the environment tells the story. Wherever you go, Stela boasts of eye-catching unique levels that capture the sense of a varied, enormous world.

Wander through expansive zones that have their own challenges and hazards. Run across barren fields under a heavy rain of flaming arrows. Hide from long-limbed mutants in misty forests. Survive hazards like pitfalls and rolling stones covered in spikes. Cross an ice-covered wilderness while avoiding a tunneling monster. Descend into a cavern while evading the limbs of a gargantuan creature.

To get past each obstacle, you will need appropriate timing, stealth, and quick thinking while using any tools available in the environment. Use discarded shields, hide inside burnt-out logs, take cover behind broken walls. Keep pushing forward and you just might discover the mystery behind Stela. That is, if you can survive.
