    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can Noodle's momentum be completely negated mid-air to allow for precise ledge grabs?
Yes, by coiling in mid-air, you can drastically reduce Noodle's forward momentum, allowing for much more accurate placements on ledges.
How does Noodle's coiling length impact his ability to traverse narrow passages?
The length of Noodle's coil directly affects his ability to navigate tight spaces; the shorter the coil, the easier the passage.
Is it possible to create a bridge by strategically positioning Noodle's body?
Absolutely. You can use your body to create a temporary bridge to cross gaps or provide support for other structures.
Does Noodle's grip strength vary depending on the material he is coiled around?
Yes, Noodle's grip is stronger on some surfaces than others, impacting his ability to climb and hold his position.
Can you change Noodle's direction mid-air without altering his coil?
No, to change direction mid-air, you must coil to affect Noodle's aerial trajectory.
What is the primary consequence of Noodle's body touching the ground while he is attempting to climb?
If Noodle's body touches the ground while climbing, his grip is immediately lost and he will fall.
Does the game penalize players for overextending Noodle and causing him to fall?
Falling from a high place may result in Noodle having to restart at a previous location, so be careful.
How does the game encourage players to uncoil to gain forward movement?
Uncoiling is crucial to gain forward movement on flat surfaces or slopes. You will need to balance the coil with forward momentum for the best play.
Can you use Noodle's body as a counterweight to lift or lower objects?
Yes, you can use your body weight and positioning to balance structures and manipulate objects within the environment.
Is there a limit to the number of times Noodle can coil in rapid succession?
There is no specific limit, but over-coiling can make Noodle's movements unstable, so it requires a certain level of mastery.
