Microsoft has introduced the new Xbox Full Screen Experience initially on the ROG Xbox Ally devices, featuring a console-like interface along with performance enhancements. Recently, this feature has also been made available for MSI Claw users. And now, the Full Screen Experience is available for all Windows 11 handheld devices currently on the market. Additionally, this feature has moved into the testing phase for various Windows 11 PC formats, including desktops, laptops, and tablets.
The Xbox Full Screen Experience is now being rolled out to Insiders in the Dev and Beta channels via Windows Insider Preview Build 26220.7221, which was released on November 21. Previously, users had to manually enable this feature.

After installing the Xbox app from the Microsoft Store, Insiders with the update can switch to the new full-screen Xbox mode via Task View. This option can be accessed from the taskbar icon or by pressing the Windows + Tab keys. The 'Xbox full screen experience' will be listed here along with any other open desktops.
Alternatively, users can enter the Xbox mode through the Game Bar settings or by pressing the Windows key + F11. To exit this mode, the Task View, Game Bar settings, or the Windows key can be utilized without requiring a restart. This entire gaming mode can also be turned off from Windows Settings. As with its other features, Microsoft is actively seeking user feedback on this desktop implementation of the mode. This can be done directly from Windows by pressing Windows + F, which opens the Feedback Hub, allowing users to select the Full Screen Experience category.
Nevertheless, even if you’re a Windows Insider, you might not have immediate access to FSE, as Microsoft states that the feature is “gradually rolling out” with the latest Windows Insider builds. It also necessitates having the Xbox app available from the Microsoft Store.
