WRC8 to finally release after a two-year hiatus

It’s been two years since WRC 7 and after a long wait, BigBen Interactive and Kylotonn have excitedly announced that the series is making a return with WRC 8. It´s just about time because you have probably memorized all the trails in WRC 7 and have exhausted all the upgrades available for the cars in your garage by now!

The World Rally Championship is set to make a comeback this September and the creators of the new title have promised a better than ever WRC. It will be available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. BigBen dropped a teaser video and photos of WRC 8's gameplay as they officially made their announcement last week. So far, the game looks quite promising in the trailer. The two-year window was used to improve the game’s graphics and technical routes, and it definitely doesn't disappoint in those areas. It also has a more comprehensive career mode with real-world locations across 14 countries.

This new installment of the WRC series features changing weather conditions, allowing players to adjust their car’s handling and set-up and manage a team of weather spotters. Players can also choose their driver from the FIA World Rally Championships, WRC 2, and Junior WRC series. Included in the list you will find people like Sebastien Ogier (six times World Champion from Citroen Racing), Essapekka Lappi, Jari – Mattie Latvala, Kris Meeke, and Ott Tanak (Toyota). Players will see the return of Sebastien Loeb as well, the nine-times World Champion and a World Rally Championship legend.
