The second Steam Fest of 2026 is now underway, filling the virtual board with hundreds of titles, many of which are discounted by up to 95% through February 2.
During the festival, players can browse special deals, try free demos, and discover upcoming digital board games. Steam has also added three new items to the Points Shop for the event, although these aren’t available for free.
Digital board games are a convenient way to enjoy multiplayer experiences when meeting around a physical table isn’t possible. They’re also excellent for learning new rules through built-in tutorials and for sharpening your skills by playing against AI opponents.
One highlight is Dune: Imperium, the award-winning board game adaptation that expertly combines deck-building and worker placement. Set on the harsh desert world of Arrakis, players take on the role of leaders from the Great Houses, competing for control of the planet and its precious Spice melange. The game plays out over ten rounds, each centered on a Conflict that rewards valuable resources or Victory Points. It’s currently available at its lowest recorded price of $16.09 / €15.77 / £13.52, reflecting a 30% discount.
If traditional chess no longer excites you, 5D Chess With Multiverse Time Travel offers a wildly inventive alternative. Discounted by 52%, this version introduces branching timelines and alternate realities where every move can affect multiple dimensions with unexpected consequences. It’s now priced at $5.75 / €4.79 / £4.45.
Alternatively, you can jump into Monopoly Madness, a fast-paced and chaotic reimagining of the classic board game. Instead of turn-based play, this version features real-time action across the streets of Monopoly Town, where players collect resources, upgrade properties, and sabotage opponents in a race to the top. The game is currently $7.49 / €7.49 / £6.49, thanks to a hefty 75% discount.
Even with the Steam sale underway, bundles are still a smart way to stretch your budget further. For example, Humble is currently running its Sid Meier Collection, a bundle packed with 10 standout games from legendary game designer Sid Meier, including six of the Civilization games.
