Omno will launch very soon
Omno is an independent adventure game that was first unveiled several years ago. It's being developed by StudioInkyFox, which is formed by a single man, Jonas Manke. Since it was announced at the end of 2018, the game has gone through a Kickstarter campaign, which has allowed it to grow and take shape. We could recently hear about Omno thanks to a video that was presented at the Guerilla Collective event, which took place at the beginning of June.
We already knew that Omno's release date would be revealed soon, and a brand new trailer has just confirmed that the game will be available on July 29th. This is good news for all those who have been waiting for Omno, as they won't have to wait much longer. It has also been revealed that Omno will launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC, and it will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass upon release. It will be coming to Nintendo Switch too but on a later date this year.
Omno is an adventure game that mixes exploration, platforming, and puzzle solving in a smooth and colorful way that is reminiscent of other games such as Journey and RiME. You play as a character whose identity is unknown, who is equipped with a sort of magic stick that allows him to interact with his environment. With it, he can break objects, and collect crystals with the help of the fauna that populates the world of Omno, but it also serves as an overboard and to interact with runes and to project himself forward to overcome obstacles. Omno offers you a challenging yet relaxing experience, taking you through a variety of landscapes, from grasslands to tundra to a hot desert, while listening to a great soundtrack.
Omno will be available on July 29th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and if you want to try it out, there's a free demo is available on Steam.
