Mae Borowski, who dropped out of college, returns home to the crumbling former mining town of Possum Springs, seeking to resume her old aimless life and reconnect with the friends she left behind. Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but if we are to believe the list that was leaked last week and which has been true so far, the game that should succeed Night in the Woods is Stranded Deep, in which you are the survivor of a plane crash and must now find a way to survive stranded on an island in the Pacific Ocean.
