New detail revealed in a More No Rest for the Wicked showcase
No Rest for the Wicked is an exciting action RPG from the creators of Ori and the Blind Forest. The game is currently available in Early Access via Steam and it offers a unique adventure that combines exploration in a dark but beautifully crafted world with incredible soulslike combat. Even though the game is still in development, it offers a unique and intense gameplay experience to those willing to dive into a world afflicted by a terrible plague known as the Pestilence. In such a scenario you take the role of a Cerim, a brave holly warrior who is determined to put an end to the Pestilence by any means necessary. However, you soon find yourself entangled in political intrigues while trying to aid those who desperately need help.
A new stage in development
Strategy and visceral action get mixed in No Rest for the Wicked, a thrilling adventure that has captivated many fans already with its detailed graphics and brutal combat. The game's unforgiving combat system makes it perfect for those looking for a challenge and it also offers a wide range of approaches to each encounter depending on your equipment and your skills. Developer Moon Studios has released a new showcase that provides deeper insight into the game's mechanics and reveals interesting details about No Rest for the Wicked.
The video also reveals that the studio has secured the publishing rights for the game and completely owns the franchise. This provides the studio with more freedom to continue developing the game in the direction they better see fit. The game was originally going to be released by Private Division, an indie label owned by Take-Two at the time. After Take-Two decided to sell the label to a third party, Moon Studios opted to buy its freedom in a move that would guarantee the studio total control over its creation.
Beyond that, yesterday's showcase focuses on the introduction of additional content to the game, including new weapons, elements that boost replayability, and more. It also reveals the next stop in the development process, which is the introduction of cooperative gameplay. After that, the studio wants to continue expanding the game with more gameplay systems ahead of the official release of No Rest for the Wicked.
No Rest For the Wicked will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series when it leaves Early Access. Feel free to use our comparator to keep track of the lowest prices to purchase No Rest for the Wicked for your platform of choice.
