Maono G3 gaming mixer packs powerful streaming features for creators

Maono has launched the G3 Gaming Audio Mixer, a new desktop audio solution designed for streamers who need more control over multiple audio sources. The mixer can independently handle game, chat, headphone, and streaming audio, allowing users to send different mixes to a second PC or mobile device for broadcasting.

The G3 supports both XLR and 3.5mm inputs, along with 3.5mm headphone and monitor outputs and USB-C audio connectivity. XLR microphones can receive phantom power, while the mixer provides up to 57dB of input gain. Maono has also included AI noise reduction to help clean up microphone audio without requiring additional processing.

For more complex streaming setups, the G3 features dual USB-C/OTG connectivity, allowing audio to be routed between a gaming PC and a dedicated streaming machine. This makes it possible to separate game audio, team chat, monitoring, and broadcast mixes. Single-PC users can instead combine the mixer with software such as OBS and Discord while controlling additional sources through Maono's Arena software.

Arena provides software-based control over the G3's virtual audio routing and mixing. Users can create separate mixes for their own headphones, in-game communication, and live broadcasts, with supported sources including microphones, games, Discord, music services, browser audio, Spotify, and stream alerts.

Physical controls remain a major part of the G3's design. The mixer has four audio channels, each with its own volume slider and mute button for making quick adjustments while streaming. Alongside that are also four programmable sound pads that can trigger music, sound effects, and other audio clips during broadcasts, with support for audio files of unlimited duration.

Overall, the G3 is aimed at streamers who want the flexibility of software-based audio routing without giving up dedicated physical controls. Its combination of multiple inputs, dual-PC support, customizable mixing, and quick-access controls makes it particularly suited to more involved streaming setups.
