Life is Strange: Remastered Collection delayed on Switch

Bad news for the fans of Life is Strange that were expecting to play all the games included in the upcoming compilation on Nintendo Switch. The launch ofLife is Strange: Remastered Collection has been delayed again, and there's not even an accurate release date for it right now. The compilation, which includes the remastered version of Life is Strange, and Life is Strange: Before the Storm, already suffered a delay. The title was meant to be released back in September last year, but Square Enix moved it to "early 2022" and blamed the pandemic.

But it seems that the development of the Nintendo Switch port of Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is more problematic than it was expected, and now, instead of launching on February 1, the release has been moved to "later this year." This delay does not have any impact on the versions for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, which will still be available on the same date. Switch owners are going to be quite disappointed, but it's not the first time that we see a game launching later on Switch, and it will probably happen more times. It's weird in this case since the games in Life is Strange: Remastered Collection do not seem to need any type of specific development to take advantage of some of the unique features of the Nintendo Switch. In fact, Life is Strange: True Colors has been available on Switch for a while, and it offers quite a good gameplay experience.
