Strategy lovers get 14 games and loads of DLCs in latest Humble Bundle

Following the recent Holiday Encore 2025 event, Humble Bundle seemed to reduce the frequency of new game packs. Just when it appeared that the next bundle wouldn’t launch until 2026, a surprise new one was released. The Kalypso Strategy and Tactics Pack targets fans of strategic gameplay and features a collection of notable titles.

The initial tier priced at $7 / 5,95€ / £5.19 primarily caters to fans of older titles. While this tier includes six games, the most recent one is from 2011. However, this doesn’t imply the games are lacking: Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines and the classic Sudden Strike titles are still enjoyable for fans of the genre. That said, these games have been included in various bundles previously, so you may already have them. The tier also features a few Dungeons DLCs, but they don’t enhance the overall value enough to make a significant difference.

The following tier, which costs $10 / 8,49€ / £7.41, is a slight improvement. It includes everything from the first tier and adds Commandos 2 HD Remaster, Praetorians HD Remaster, Sudden Strike 4, and Dungeons 2 along with its DLCs. While this set of games enhances the overall value, the price still seems somewhat elevated. Compared to what the final tier offers, this middle option doesn’t particularly stand out, making the highest tier the most appealing choice.

Finally, the $12 / 10,19€ / £8.89 price tier is undoubtedly the only option worth considering for enthusiasts of strategy and tactics games. This tier consists of 27 items: 14 games and 13 DLCs, delivering the best value in the bundle by a significant margin. The highlight of this selection is Disciples: Liberation, which remains relatively pricey in official stores today. Additionally, you’ll receive a Steam key for a major expansion for the game, Paths to Madness, which hasn’t been included in game bundles previously!
