Incursion Red River’s Next Update Puts Armed Convoys on the Map

Incursion Red River raids are about to get a lot more crowded, and some of the threats will be on wheels. The Incursion Red River update 1.4 will lands on November 4, 2026, adding roaming convoys, contested airdrops and traders you can find inside a raid.

What's new on the raid

The next update is officially called Update #4 by developer Games of Tomorrow, though it’s often referred to as version 1.4. Players can expect it on November 4, while content creators get an early look starting October 29. Its predecessor, version 1.3, launched in February and brought a campaign featuring voice work from Jane Perry.

• Convoys: armed enemy convoys now travel across the map with infantry escorts. They only appear occasionally, and some may carry very high-tier loot. You can also call airstrikes on them.
• Airdrops: supply drops can now land during a raid. AI forces secure them quickly, so you have to move fast or the loot is gone.
• In-raid traders: each map has its own vendor. The developers say traders mainly make it easier to get basic items for hideout upgrades and repair items. They also sometimes sell rarer hideout upgrades and loot tied to their faction, so bring cash.
• Story missions: five new ones, three main and two side missions, take you to the Outskirts and beyond.
• Everything else: the update also adds a secure container, a revamped medical system and more immersion improvements.

In a PvE extraction shooter, the danger comes from the AI instead of other players. That makes every new threat or reward matter more, so a moving convoy and a contested airdrop give raids more to chase, and an in-raid trader could change how long you stay in a raid before extracting.

Other changes

The October 1 developer update highlighted several improvements, with the game’s install size dropping from approximately 80 GB to 38 GB and CPU usage falling by around 20%. Players can also expect Intel XeSS support to join FSR and DLSS. On the localization front, the studio has introduced preliminary AI-assisted translations in German, Russian, Korean, Chinese, and Spanish, although the developers emphasized that the work is far from finished.
