Humble’s latest bundle serves up 14 indie nightmares for Halloween

Humble is getting into the Halloween spirit with another edition of its Indie Fears Bundle, bringing together 14 horror games from independent developers. The latest collection mixes psychological horror, survival games, strange adventures and other unsettling experiences, with several highly rated indie favorites included in the lineup.

Unlike many Humble bundles that split their games across multiple tiers, this one keeps things simple. There is only one option, and paying $13 / €11.20 / £9.60 unlocks all 14 games.

One of the biggest names in the collection is Mouthwashing, the psychological horror game that follows the crew of a doomed spaceship as paranoia and desperation take hold. It has become one of the more recognizable indie horror releases of recent years, making it a particularly notable inclusion for anyone who missed it.

The Headliners offers something more social, putting up to eight players into a co-op survival horror experience where a group of journalists ventures into an abandoned city during a mysterious catastrophe. Rather than simply trying to survive, the team must photograph what is happening while avoiding the creatures lurking throughout the streets, turning every expedition into a dangerous attempt to capture the perfect headline.

Several other games have earned "Overwhelmingly Positive" ratings from Steam players. Buckshot Roulette takes the familiar concept of a high-stakes game of chance and turns it into a disturbing horror experience where every decision can have serious consequences. Arctic Eggs is considerably stranger, putting players in control of the Poultry Peddler as they cook unusual food on a frying pan.

Who's Lila? takes another unconventional approach to horror with its point-and-click adventure gameplay. Instead of relying on traditional dialogue choices, players control protagonist William's facial expressions to communicate with other characters. A specialized facial-recognition system interprets those expressions and uses them to influence how the story unfolds.

Those are only some of the 14 games included, so there is plenty more to discover for anyone looking to expand their horror collection before Halloween. The Humble Indie Fears Bundle is available until October 15, 2026, with all 14 games provided as Steam keys.
