China ends its console ban, opening up new opportunities for gamers and the gaming industry.
This week the Wall Street Journal reported that China's Ministry of Culture released a statement with the news that game consoles can now be manufactured and sold freely in the Asian country. Previously it was only permitted at the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, effectively choking a market estimated at 22,2 billion just this year.
