GTA 5 Enhanced Edition is finally available on PC

Even though all eyes are focused on the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI, developer Rockstar Games is providing the fans of the series with the means to keep themselves entertained. The studio has not completely abandoned GTA V and it has released a free update for the game on PC that takes it to the next level. This update was announced a while ago and it introduces a plethora of improvements that allow the game to take advantage of modern systems better. The update is currently live and it brings the game to the current level of quality that players could only enjoy on last-gen consoles until now.

Better than ever

After this update, your normal GTA 5 will be upgraded to Enhanced Edition, with improved graphics options, faster loading time, enhanced performance, and even new content, including "Ambient Animals encounters and a daily Wildlife Photography Challenge available from the LS Tourist Board at Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness." This new version of the game also features a series of new and exciting vehicles for you to unlock in the game.

"Newly added vehicles for PC include the Pegassi Weaponized Ignus and Coil Cyclone II supercars, the Karin S95 sports car, the Imponte Arbiter GT muscle car, and the Pfister Astron Custom SUV. These join a fleet of 20 vehicles already available in GTA Online and are now available for tuning from HSW. Plus, GTA+ Members can claim a Principe Deveste Eight (Super) for free through May 28 as part of a special Classics Collection to commemorate GTA+ arriving on PC."

However, these improvements come at a price. The system requirements to play Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Edition on PC are superior to the ones your PC had to meet prior to the update. Make sure to check them out before you update your game via Epic Games Store or Steam if you don't want to have any problems. This new version of GTA V will make the wait for its successor less cumbersome, especially because it's totally free.
