Claim a city builder and a horror game for free on Epic this week

Epic Games Store users have two new games to claim this week, with Out of Sight and TerraScape now available to add to their libraries permanently at no cost. The latest giveaway brings last week's promotions for Buried Stars and System Shock 2 to an end, replacing them with two titles that offer very different experiences, from unsettling horror to laid-back kingdom building.

For players looking to relax, TerraScape combines city building with puzzle mechanics on a hexagonal map. Rather than simply placing structures wherever they fit, you'll need to think carefully about how different buildings interact to maximize your score. Each successful placement helps you earn points and draw more cards, gradually transforming a modest settlement into a thriving kingdom.

The game also lets you experiment with different strategies, unlock additional buildings, and compete for a place on the global leaderboards. Both cooperative and versus multiplayer modes are available, giving you the option to build alongside friends or challenge them directly. With no time limits pushing you forward, TerraScape offers a more relaxed take on strategy and city management.

Those seeking something more unsettling can turn to Out of Sight, a horror adventure developed by The Gang. You play as Sophie, a blind girl trying to escape a mansion filled with dark secrets, with her teddy bear serving as your unusual means of seeing the world around her.

Its distinctive perspective is central to both the puzzles and the suspense. By looking through the teddy bear's eyes, you'll need to work out where to position it before guiding Sophie through the environment. Along the way, you'll solve puzzles, avoid lurking threats, and uncover the disturbing history behind the mansion while trying to escape without being caught.

Both games are available to claim through the Epic Games Store until October 15. Once the current promotion expires, Epic will introduce another pair of free games, continuing its weekly giveaway schedule for PC players.
