Forspoken will be improved based on demo feedback
Last week we revealed that the Forspoken demo on PlayStation 5 was receiving negative critics regarding certain aspects of the game. The development of the upcoming action RPG from Luminous Productions and Square Enix has been a bit controversial since the game was announced. Despite the huge anticipation for a game that looked very good at its presentation, the information flow between the developer and the players has not been as fluid as it should be, and many have deemed the marketing campaign for the game as sloppy. When you couple that with delays on the launch date, the feedback received from the demo takes quite a significant role in the development by allowing the creators to know where the community stands regarding Forspoken.
The developer stated that the demo was originally intended to be in that state and that it does not accurately represent the final version of the game, which opens a door for hope. But things could even get better for Forspoken because Luminous Productions has recently revealed that it's taking into account the feedback received from the demo to improve the game's final version. The information has been shared on the official account of Forspoken on Twitter, where you can read about several specific improvements that the game will receive. They will include increased text size, an option to map the buttons, and a fix for the HDR issues that some players are experiencing in the demo.
It's amazing to see so many of you enjoying your time in Athia with the #Forspoken Demo on PS5.

We're listening to all your feedback and can confirm that the full game will have increased text size, button mapping and will fix the HDR issues that some players are experiencing. pic.twitter.com/eKopx8UgCW
This kind of communication between the developers and the community of players is remarkably positive, and will lead to a much better game experience. As long as the developer maintains the original idea about the game, all the changes that enhance gameplay will be very welcome.
The release of Forspoken is scheduled for January 24 on PC and PS5. We hope that the developer has enough time to fix all the problems and add the enhancements ahead of release.
