Epic Games Store is giving away an indie 3D puzzle game and more today

Felix the Reaper is available to claim free today on the Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store has launched its first giveaway for November, replacing last week's horror titles that included Bendy and the Ink Machine and Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit. The newest free game available to PC gamers is Felix the Reaper. As usual, players have a week to permanently add the games to their Epic Games Store library.

Developed by Kong Orange, Felix the Reaper is a puzzle game set in an intriguing environment. You assume the role of Felix, a cheerful bringer of death who enjoys dancing while carrying out his duties. The gameplay involves guiding Felix through floating environments constructed from grid tiles. Since Felix is a reaper, he cannot move in direct sunlight, so players must adjust the sun's position and shift objects to create shadows that lead to pathways.

Navigate through grid-based levels by rotating the sun and repositioning objects to strategically place Felix in order to orchestrate elaborate accidental deaths. With gameplay similar to Sokoban-style puzzles, it is simple to learn yet challenging to master. Each level's primary objective is to create "accidental" fatalities of characters from the real world, all delivered with a humorous twist. Additionally, the game's narrator, who offers guidance and comments on Felix's actions throughout the campaign, is voiced by Patrick Stewart.

In addition to the game giveaway, Epic is also providing a goodie pack for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. Anyone who logs into this free-to-play idle game between now and November 13 will receive in-game items valued at over $100.

The giveaway for Felix the Reaper is currently active on the Epic Games Store. PC gamers can claim it until November 13, at which point the free game offer will update with a new title. As always, be sure to visit our free games page and keep an eye out for upcoming titles and special offers.
